Water crisis and its simple solution

Leepa Chakraborty: There is nothing more essential to life than water. Water cover 70 percent of our planet but the point to be noted that only 3 percent of world’s water is fresh, the rest is unavailable for our use. we know water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet water demand. Today 844 million people in the world lack access to it. It affects every continent and was listed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum as one of the largest global risk in terms of our potential impact over the next decade.

We would definitely like to know that what are the reasons behind this crisis. There are so many reasons working behind this crisis like— Increasing Population, Global Climate Change, Pollution, Overuse, Waste, Environmental Factors, Runoff etc.
“There is a water crisis today. But the crisis is not about having too little water to satisfy our needs. It is a crisis of managing water so badly that billions of people and the environment- suffer badly” according to World Water Vision Report.

Why water crisis

Water crisis is a very serious matter. World vision believes we can solve the global water crisis within our lifetime our effort include–
1. Drilling, developing and repairing wells and other vital water points.
2. Teaching local community members how to keep water flowing.
3. Promoting healthy hygiene practices through education.
4. Overseeing the building of latrines and hand washing facilities.

In this competition to move forward in life, we should not forget the basis of our life.

All countries are trying to solve this problem in their own way. But we common people also have to take this problem seriously, otherwise one day it will come, from the earth the existence of the creature will disappear.
